Pink Dress, and sweet smile, little girls are the most cheerful – I always want to be a little girl, the one who steals heart of everyone sometimes by unlimited chatter and the other time by applying lipstick of mom or making a round chapati for Dad at age of 8, yes burned one but he eats it because I made it ;). But I am grown up now and standing at the balcony of my hostel building when I see those little girls playing with their gang I recall myself.
And then I move from my childhood to an O’ level in my own fantasies, as how I have changed from a cute girl to grown up girl..
The journey follows Here –
Tears in eyes and white dress terror for a while, makes my first period the most fearfull – In a second I hated almost everything around the globe, looking at the skipping rope my heart throbed, Till now i was all free but what this new change came to my life made me feel awkward.
Till now the girl gang was all happy and free but now all are busy discussing the stay free – Earlier when we friends met we discussed barbie dolls, and kitchen set but now we are too busy talking to each other about periods, stains, pain and pads.
Our girl gang had special name for those pads which we used during emergencies when boys were around :D.
Mom, teacher and sister taught about Do’s and Don’ts during periods – Everyone used to take care of us and teach us the things to be taken care of, Mom calmed the crying me by telling that every girl gets this and also she gave me a gift when i got my first periods as a token of celebrating my bwing grown up first sign.
she also told me about the dumping criteria abd using the right one pads and changing at the right times.
Little yoga, warm shower and oil massage on navel is the tackle from pain – During periods the pain is unbearable on some days so what i do is do exercises that relax my period…but remember there are many exercises which should not be done during periods, I will say take expert advice before doing any exercise if you aren’t sure.
Warm shower is a blessing and takes away my irritaion everytime and soothes during those days. And also my granny advised me to massage some mustard oil on navel on those days to relax from pain and it works everytime.
As a bibliophile i always take favourite book everywhere similarly as a girl Ishould feel free to keep a tampon always with me.
Understanding your periods very well, and marking on calendar to keep a track on the dates is an ideal way to keep a track on periods.
Earlier I hated it when periods arrived, now I get scared if it don’t arrive…evil laugh***
Touching pickles, avoiding kitchen all are just stereotypes and ahould be broken immediately. They prevail in your home like mine too my home too butt I have practised by not following any of them and believe me nothing of them is true.
I do everything on my periods just give break to tough ones Yoga. I believe periods is all good, It takes the impurities out. Only thing we need to take care is of the hygiene.
Changing on times that is changing within every 6 hour is must and using periods panties for comfort and tension free from stains is must.
And one tip that works fine every time for me is self – pampering 😀 or looking so cute that others can’t stop pampering me.
dee dee give our tennis ball a cute voice shouts…
a little girls call me and I come out of my O level.
