Word – Dove
Dove, and by Dove i mean pigeons.
Observing them can be of great leisure to you after you read this post. Here are my observations crafted to a post ❤.
1)Dove trapped behind bars –
Pigeons are like the new sparrows.
I wake up early morning just to catch a view of the doves (a pair of white pigeons) which are trapped by the people living in neighbouring house.
Every morning they set those pigeons free to fly for almost an hour and then with a code language they call them back.
The pigeons after being freed, try to take a high fly but they can’t because their flying feathers are cut to halves because of which they can take only two-three rounds of the nearby sky and then they have to return back to their owner’s house.
Many times I asked that uncle why he trapped those pigeons in steel bars ?
And he was so weird, he calmy ignored my question every time.
I made a conclusion myself on his silence, that he possessed attitude that he own white doves would be matter of fame for him to the world.
This made me upset.
2.) Cute and killer Ramp walk of ‘dove’
Another observations that I made while observing pigeons are –
Pigeons usually love their partner very much .They scratch each other’s feathers, as a sign of affection.
Many times I seen pigeons kissing each other ;).
Pigeons walk with attitude and carry a swag. They take three to four steps, and look around and than take one step forward just like the models do when they do ramp walk *laughs* at this observation
Awww so killer ;).
3.)Time to learn things from Grandpa 😉
My grandpaa also syas me that when pigeons speaks “gutur guu” “guturguu”
If we concentrate and listen to them nicely we can hear a sound ..”prabhutuu”.
Of which he explained me that
“Prabhu” represents the Almighty God
And “Tu” in English is “You” .
So when they say “PrabhuTUU ”
They thank God for giving them the life, food and waking them healthy to a new morning.
4.)School gang of girls; playing interesting tricks to get marks.
Another thing that I remember when topic of pigeons comes is that during childhood I collected their feathers.
I liked collecting different feathers and then coloured them to red, blue ,green, yellow with my little hands along with spoiling my frocks and nose :p.
I collected them because we school girls of class four believed that if we collect these feathers, color them and keep them in our notebooks, then we can score good marks 😂in exams.
I laugh when I recall this incident , we were so innocent in childhood and we looked everything with magical glitter.
5.)Let’s drive to Childhood memories –
During my free time in childhood, When I met my sister in summer vacation , we both did lot of naughty things together. One of the things that i remember is here.
She was my partner in crime. We both sat on a cliff and tried to catch pigeons feathers before they fall on ground and then immediately close eyes and make a wish.
We believed that our wish will come true if feather comes to our hands before falling on ground.
This magical myth was told us by mom, when we were toddlers.
She said us so because we were crying to meet out maternal granny who passed away.
And to stop us from crying she convinced us by this fairy tale.
Pigeons are full entertainment when one watch them everyday.
I am very close to “Doves” those set of white pigeons in my neighbouring house and one day I will set them free 😉 for sure without knowledge of that rude uncle 😂😂.
How to save pigeons ❤-
1. Pour for them some cool water to drink as heat is already breaking its records .
2. While flying kites ,do not use sharph threads.
3. Give them grains to eat they will make a beautiful place in your heart …as pigeons are very scared of humans, set them free .
