Day 9
Letter “H”
Word – Handicrafts .
This post is my personal favourite .
As I make handicrafts myself.
Handicrafts
What are handicrafts ?
Handicrafts are creative crafts or showpieces which are made by our own hands. These are very attractive and creates happiness around when we gift it to the people whom we love.
There is creativity inside everyone of us and when we sit and flaunt with colours and paint things which end up creating mesmerising crafts.
I really like making handicrafts.
I am an handicraft artist and I make crafts of ‘paper-mache’.
Paper mache is easily available in market or we can make it at home by taking some old newspapers and soaking them in fevicol for few days, once the newspapers mingle completely into fevicol we get “Mache”
Here are a few handicrafts which I have made from my own hands –

This is a plate, on which I have done ceramic cone work and is very traditional and is used in Marriages and other functions .

I made the feathers, eyes and everything on this watch with newspaper and fevicol and then decorated it with colours and stones and gave a shine.
It dipicts Rajasthani culture.
It can be perfect for giving a royal look to your home and if you make this by hand and gift it to your friends they gonna remember you life long for this lovely surprise .
These are many other handicrafts made by me for cheering my relatives and friends .

It took me almost a month to make this table , but now when I see this ready and here the praising of people I feel so happy that something which i made is liked by everyone and also this is attraction to my home .
This is called bajot and is used in marriage fuctions for gitftng to bride and groom for performing Pooja in Rajasthani weddings.
This is also uses for decoration purpose in Diwali for lighting lamps and it looks ROYAL and elegant .
I learned it, its very easy.
On my saying – guys once try to make this crafts by yourself .
You will love it, also it will bring a change in your boring routine of life as colouring crafts and making them gonna be lot fun.
You can also ask me for any help in making it π .

I do some crafting – mostly embroidery and a little sewing – but nothing like this. Beautiful! Your home is so much more personal and interesting if it contains your own handiwork. It’s a lost art π

Thank you for the comment on my post. This post of yours is very nice with photos of actual things you made. I became very busy last week and my visits to blogs of the challenge dropped down drastically.
