After the AZ Challenge, I am back !
Happy May !
Do you love reading? Answer to this question.
If I were a book !
If your answer is ‘Yes’ then you will surely connect with my post.
And if you don’t read then I better suggest you to pick up a good book soon and begin your reading journey.
Now coming back to those who love reading, we bibliophiles developed this hobby in us either by reading by oursef or being advised by our parents or someone to read, and to read good books.
So same happened with me, I started reading from my childhood days because I used to travel from Rajasthan to Assam.
Three days and two nights in a train with no mobile phones craze during that time, then surely I needed something to pass my time other than playing cards with my siblings, and watching the passageway, through that A.C window mirror.
So on one of the stations on my way I picked up some magazines “Champak” and “chotu-motu” for reading.
I read them in one read and found them so interesting and humourable that I started collecting all the champak series by then.
Slowly slowly as a sign of growing up, I was indulged into studies and i hardly went to Assam due to higher studies burden, so in this I gave up my reading.
After after all the higher studies was done, then I again came back to my reading hobby and found a bookworm in me more curious to read then before.
Now I became a bibliophile.
I have read many books and being a voracious reader, many times I talk with my books while reading them.
They reply to me in their own way through suspense and twist and turns.
So a idea hit my brain, if a book was a person in real what would it do or think ?
And as per my reading experiences and attachment, I developed these undertakings –
If I were a book, I would sleep with my reader and wake up with my reader.
I would love my reader the most and wait for his/her attention all the time.
Bookmarks would be my jewellery.
And when I had desire to travel, I would secretly enter into the backpacks of my reader so that I could breathe some fresh air of the mountains.
And when I would feel cool in the winters, I would ask my reader to hug me and take me to quilt with a mug of brewed coffee.
He would drink the coffee, and I would be intoxicated with warmth and fragrance if his coffee.
During rains, I would ask my beloved reader to take me to window and show me the drizzling and would mingle in the aroma of sand.
If I were a book, still under ‘writing’ – I would help the author to paint me by beautiful words smiling through the white pages in his thoughts.
I would talk with the ✒ pen, to not giggle me while writing on me.
If I were a book, I would be sleeping in the bookstores during the Midnights if i am satisfied that a reader picked me up and read me.
Or I would count the stars and talk with the bright moon to send me some good readers, the next day through the transparent mirror walls of the biggest Malls of city.
If I were a book, I would be there in selfies, and shelfies of many readers with attraction to many guests.
And I would get angry every time a non – reader would pick me up, taking me away from my owner.
If I were a book, I would simply want to be awesome, I would like to fulfill the greed of reading of my readers, I would get the author convinced to autograph for my readers and I would also earn royalty to those authors or ‘Mom Dad’ ( the one who give birth to a book here) who spend their beautiful thoughts and intellectual creativities in writing me.
I would be, a proud baby to my parents.
I would make them proud everytime they would read a reader review :).
If I were a book, I would be AWESOME.
Being a book is better than being a human, because humans just exploit Mother Nature.
If I were a book, I would HiFi with my readers when they would meet me in libraries or bookstores as a sign of mutual connection they developed with the characters while reading me.
Recommendations for the month –
I would love to be a book on nature just like ‘Birds in my Indian Garden’ by MALCOLM MACDONALD.
The post is a part of Blogchatter prompt.
Holding good till 5th of May 2016.
Happy Reading !
