Blog Marathon, yesterday was a holiday and I am here again today with some amazing information relating to temples of Vrindawan .
RangJi Temple –
This God is also know as ‘Ranganath Ji’ in the south and the temple here is widespread in 1km area where there are around 10-15 temples more and the speciality of this temple is that the top of all temple is crowned with Gold.
The temple is replica of the RanganathJi temple of south.
The temple is near the Ghats of river Yamuna, so that when you enter inside it the river side sand pampers your frets and it shines with glitter when sun rats fall on it .
Here goes the clicks of Hathi, Ghodaa and Palki of Krishna.
It is believed that they are made up of pure gold and guided by the lord himself. There is a room in which all these things are kept, behind the bars.
To see this all the guard takes an entry fees and camera isn’t allowed inside .
I managed it somehow.:p
Outside the room we get to see a very long pillar this is made up of Gold and coated with silver and sandalwood.
The pillar weights 500 kgs and ir is saud that one of the King donated all this Gold to temple and got built such a masterpiece temple some 200 years ago.
The temple is an epic and live example of Heritage, the paintings on wall and the meenakari work tempts you to keep an eye attached to its walls.
If you need information relating to the history of the temple, I would suggest you to talk to the local people residing there instead of asking the guards for it .
Outside the temples there were shopkeepers selling conch and shells.
And also there were ladders kept at sides of the shop on which monkeys were climbing and playing and came down and took the shop’s products and went up again.
One must visit the place to experience looking at such glorious and divine things by naked eyes on the ghats of Yamuna and spend a beautiful day
The post is a part of #HalfMaratjon challenge I am taking with Blogchatter.
