Happy Diwali friends, This Diwali as I am going organic so I won’t get packaged food stuffs from market and continue with making yummy recipies at home and this is why I made yummilicios Matharis at home and that too with a healthy delight in it.
1. 1 cup All purpose flour ( Maida)
2. 1 cup wheat Flour
3. Fresh Curry leaves
4. A pinch of salt
5. 1 tea spoon ghee
6. Chaat Masala
7. Oil to fry
Method – Take maida, and wheat flour after straining them with strainer.
Mix them both well, add pinch of salt and ghee.
Now take curry leaves, wash them and chop them all finely.
Add it to flour.
And prepare a very tight dough.
Leave the dough soaked for 15 minutes with a muslin cloth.
Then soften the dough by applying oil over it.
And then take little dough and with the help of belan make little rounds chapati like.
Take a knife and make 3 cuts on each round.
Its diameter should be 2cm to 3cm.
And it should be very thick.
Now heat oil in a pan and fry the matharis till they get a nice golden color.
After they are done sprinkle chat masala over them and now it is Ready.
Enjoy the healthy and crispy snack with a cup of ginger tea.
1. Instead of frying the matharis, you can use Roti maker for making the matharis and also bake them like phulkas.
