The word that hit my brain for the letter ‘Z’ is Zillion and with it I developed the topic Zillions of Reasons to smile.
Being a 90’s kid I am very proud of myself that I still know the secret to smile in life.
Many times I see people around me telling that they have lost the idea to live life, but then I smile and say if life gives us millions of reasons to cry then it also gives us zillions of reasons to smile so just ‘SMI:)LE’ ,
I smile at sad times to increase my strength and at good times to spread positivity around me.
Smile a while and while you Smile
Others will smile at your Smile
And looking at those smile
Many others will smile at their smile
Eventually the whole world will smile .
Here are some of the memories I have related to smiles –
1.) One 16 years old friend of mine, loved make up and hair styling very much. So when after the chemotherapy when she had no hair, people suggested her to get a wig but she was inspiring child, and she never let her feel shame of not having hair because she read somewhere that ‘being positive’ is the biggest cure to cancer .
She asked her dad to call a ratio artist and got a tatoo printed on her scalp sidewise
‘ Make up is my wig’
This was written in a stylish and colourful way and every morning she smiled looking at it.
She said when I look at it, I feel that I did makeup as well as styled my hair too.
And today whenever I look at that pic of her, a smile of positivity grips my face.
I never cry, when I miss her because she was full of smile.
2.) During 2005 Cricket world cup, while all the school staff was busy watching the Final of India Vs Pakistan ( not sure ;p) I was still at school with my friends.
Our cab arrived late that day because it was Friday and we forgot to tell Bhaiya to come early to pick us up.
Friday we got free early because it was related to some prayers in Dargah.
As the cap did not arrive, I was sitting on roller coaster with my friends, I woke up all of a sudden in hurry when my cab arrived.
I went to pick up my school bag kept at side of verandah.
I picked up the bag by bending down and ignore the back because I wanted to reach early and my head met the iron bars.
They entered inside my head.
I was so dumb that I haven’t realised that I am injured.
My whole white uniform was red with blood.
Few other girls told me di, you are injured.
Then I panicked and call my elder brother for help.
In next few hours i was in unconscious state, Anthony uncle and Thomas Sir took me to hospital.
I got 7 stitches in head but till now I haven’t cried, and when sir told me that I am doing fine and within some time my father will come to pick me up.
I started crying like a mad child.
I was afraid that mom dad will scold me :p for this.
They will think that I did something naughty.
Sir and peon uncle told me that they thought I am a brave kid, I haven’t cried yet and now what happened all of a sudden ?
I said, “Sir, parents will scold me na?”
And when sir heard this he began to laugh.
Finally dad came and I woke up from strecher and went and hugged him tightly and told papa, meri mistake nahin thi :pp in innocent voice.
He smile and took me in his arms and said Oh, my princess and I am not scolding you :).
And blowed a kiss on my cheeks.
I still remember that smile of ‘fear’ and now when I recall that I laugh at my stupidity :D.
3. I was some six years old when mom left me with dad and went to Assam due to some urgent work.
I was not addicted to mamma, because I was grandparents girl so I agreed and did not create a mess when she went.
It was winters and I caught severe cold and cough and high fever.
Looking at me sick, my dad also fallen ill.
It was viral.
And at the age of six when I seen, my granny taking care of me and dad skipping sleep, I used to control my coughing, so that granny don’t get worried.
And I went to dad and said that papa, don’t take tension, I will be alright soon and then granny have to not do this much work .
Hearing this tears rolled his eyes and he said
“Your, smile is my strength”
And I hugged him back.
In the morning he told this incident to my grandparents and they both hugged and called mamma to come soon.
4. The smile, when I get new novels especially autographed ones.
5.The smile with a blush when someone admire me by a beautiful gesture.
6. I smile when I dance, sing songs while doing my works.
7. I smile when it rains or when I see a peacock or s sparrow.
8. I smile when I sit near ponds for relaxation and throw in them ‘stones’ with all might, because the more the water droplets rises the more I feel tension buried along with water.
9.I smile when I see fishes, eating
the food I offer to them.
10. I smile in the arms of mother nature every time.
And sadly many people ignore nature and are busy with big screens and small screens becoming their fake smiles.
The mantra of my life is that
” When life gives you lemons, squeeze them and apply on scalp for dandruf free and conditionered hair ”
This gonna give you healthy and beautiful hair and also one of another reason to smile ;).
I like smiling very much, I have faced the toughest times of life with prettiest smile.
So I would request everyone to smile and make the toughest situations of life easy.
And wait wait
I have one one more reason to smile –
Hurrrrayyyyy it’s done !
Here I am wearing a big smile
